Unser Entwurf soll den Innenraum tatsächlich nach außen erweitern, aber auch metaphysisch die Erfahrung eines Zwischenraums zwischen Innen und Außen hinzufügen. Der lichtdurchlässige Vorhang verbirgt die Konstruktion vor dem Raum und inszeniert das Treppenhaus als Treppe nach außen. Die Treppe führt am Fenster vorbei in einen unbestimmbaren, entkoppelten Raum. Die aufgeblasenen Luftkammern sind nur so transparent, dass sie das sanft gebrochene Tageslicht den Raum erhellen lassen, der Mensch im Inneren sich aber nicht verorten kann. Die konstruktive und statische Struktur wird mit Hilfe eines konventionellen Gerüsts hergestellt. Der entstandene Raum ist über eine Treppe und einen Boden aus OSB-Platten zugänglich. Die thermische Begrenzung wird mit einer luftgestützten Außenhaut aus transluzenter PE-Folie hergestellt. Ein sphärischer Raum zwischen Innen und Außen, der die physikalischen Parameter und physikalischen Ausgangsbedingungen der Architektur erprobt.
Our design is intended to actually extend the interior to the outside, but also to metaphysically add an experience of an intermediate space between inside and outside. The translucent curtain conceals the construction from the room and stages the staircase as a stairway to the outside. The staircase leads past the window and into an indeterminable, decoupled space. The inflated air chambers are only so transparent that they allow the softly refracted daylight to illuminate the room, but the person inside cannot locate themselves. The constructive and static structure is created using conventional scaffolding. The space created can be accessed via a staircase and a floor made of OSB boards. The thermal boundary is created with an air-supported outer skin made of translucent PE film. A spherical space between inside and outside, which tests the physical parameters and physical starting conditions of architecture.
